Pauline is Head of Legal Services at Purcell Solicitors having established the business in September 2005. Prior to this Pauline was a Partner and Head of Department at another large law firm in Central Milton Keynes. Pauline qualified as a Solicitor whilst working full time. She obtained a First Class Honours Law Degree at Buckingham University and The Law Society's Prize for the Most Outstanding Student for her professional qualifications.
Pauline is a Resolution Accredited Specialist in Advanced Financial Provision. She has also trained both as a Collaborative Lawyer and as a Mediator as she is keen to offer individuals different ways to resolve the issues which arise following the breakdown of their relationships. Pauline's has extensive knowledge in dealing with financial issues, including business assets with a special interest in pensions. Pauline is a keen Manchester United supporter and a connoisseur of fine wines - red of course!
Mandi joined Purcell in September 2005 as an Associate Solicitor and in October 2007 was promoted to Director.
Mandi qualified as a solicitor in September 2000. She obtained a 2:1 Law Degree at Leicester University and chose to practice in Family Law upon qualification. Mandi is a member of the Law Society’s Family Law Panel and a member of Resolution.
Mandi specialises in family law and advises on relationship breakdown and divorce, financial settlements, co-habitee disputes, domestic injunctions and Children's Act proceedings such as residence and contact disputes. She is also a trained Collaborative Lawyer and is therefore able to offer individuals a choice regarding how they wish to deal with matters upon the breakdown of their relationship.
She is committed to the guidelines set down by Resolution which advocates a non-adversarial approach to issues arising from the breakdown of a marriage or relationship, her aim being to reach a fair and just resolution as painlessly and as cost-effectively as possible, however if the need arises Mandi also has extensive experience as an advocate in the local Courts.
When not working Mandi enjoys socialising with friends. She also attends the gym at least twice a week which she says is a great stress reliever!
Fabian is a specialist in the law relating to children, both in the context of disputes between parents and in cases involving social services. He has been on the Law Society Children Panel, a panel for specialist children lawyers, for several years. Fabian is an experienced advocate in the court arena, and by conducting the vast majority of his advocacy is more able than most to offer his clients continuity of representation in their cases.
Fabian is married with three young children, who keep him almost as busy at home as he is at work. He is an avid Watford FC fan and season ticket holder. He also enjoys watching and playing a variety of other sports, but unfortunately since becoming a father, his active participation in sporting ventures has dwindled considerably.
Amy joined Purcell in September 2006 as an Assistant Solicitor. She obtained a 2:1 Law Degree at The Nottingham Trent University and chose to practice in Family Law upon qualification. Amy advises on relationship breakdown and divorce, financial settlements, co-habitee disputes, and complex Children Act proceedings such as residence and contact disputes. Amy is committed to assisting clients to resolve matters as amicably as possible. She fully supports the code of ethics of Resolution. However if the need arises Amy also has experience as an advocate in the local courts.Amy is now a Member of the Law Society's Family Law Panel as an accredited specialist in her field.
Amy is a keen skier and snowboarder and gets withdrawal symptoms if she does not go at least once a year! She also enjoys travelling and spending time with her family and friends.
Poonam joined Purcells in July 2007. She obtained a Law degree from the University of Leicester and was called to the Bar in July 2006. She has now obtained dual-qualification as a solicitor. Poonam specialises in Childcare proceedings and regularly assists clients in care proceedings, guardianship orders and other issues with the Local Authority. She also deals with Children Act proceedings such as residence and contact orders. Poonam has a particular interest in Forced Marriages.
Poonam enjoys traveling, her favorite travel spot being New York. She also enjoys eating out, Salsa dancing and spending time with friends and family.
Hannah is a Solicitor in the Child Care Team dealing with a range of public law and private law children matters.. She is a keen advocate and clients welcome her calm and reassuring manner. In her spare time Hannah enjoys travelling, spending time with friends and family and is a keen ice skater.
Lisa joined Purcell in September 2005, having worked with Pauline for several years before then. Lisa specialises in Family Law and advises on relationship breakdown and divorce, financial settlements, and Children's Act proceedings such as residence and contact disputes and co-habitee disputes. Lisa has considerable experience in particular in financial matters including pensions and business assets. Lisa attained a First Class Honours Law Degree at Buckingham University and is undertaking her LPC. Whilst she is committed to the guidelines set down by Resolution which advocates a non-adversarial approach to issues arising from the breakdown of a marriage or relationship, if the need arises Lisa also has experience as an advocate in the local Courts. When not working and studying Lisa enjoys socialising and is an ardent film buff!
Dan joined Purcell in April 2008 and prior to this was working as a Legal Assistant for a large local firm. Dan graduated from the University of Derby with a 2.1 LLB Hons degree and completed his Legal Practice Certificate at Leicester’s De Montfort University in 2007. Dan has always had a keen interest in family law and has studied the area extensively as part of both his undergraduate and postgraduate studies. He is excited that he is finally able to pursue a career in matrimonial law at Purcells. Dan advises on divorce, separation, children matters and domestic violence. In his spare time Dan is a failed footballer, and enjoys spending quality time with friends and family.
Kirsty joined Purcell solicitors in November 2007 as a trainee legal executive. She has completed law at a-level and is now currently completing ILEX level 3 Professional Diploma in law. Kirsty has a keen interest in family law and hopes to become a legal executive in years to come. Kirsty is in the Childcare Team and assists clients in dealing with Local Authority Care proceedings and also helps parents with residence and contact issues. She enjoys going to Court and has a reassuring and calm approach with clients.In her spare time, Kirsty enjoys spending time with family and friends, shopping, holidays & going out with the girls!
Nicola joined the firm in October 2008 and is the Manager of our Conveyancing Department. She deals with residential conveyancing, in particular sales, purchases, transfers of equity, re-mortgages and Declarations of Trust.
Nicola is a qualifed scuba diver (wow!) and an avid Northampton Sains fan. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family.
Lynsey is a Legal Assistant. She obtained a first class honours at Kingston University in Law and Criminology and went on to complete the Legal Practice Course at the Bristol Institute of Legal Practice. She assists Amy and Lisa with their clients and enjoys going to Court. She loves shopping, drinking and socialising with friends, although now she is not a student anymore it won’t be happening as often! She especially enjoys going on holidays and relaxing in the sun.
Amye is a family lawyer and advises clients in respect of divorce, separation, children and financial matters.
In her spare time she continues her studies and is undertaking the Legal Practice Course. She also enjoys playing netball for the firm and enjoys spending quality time with her boyfriend.
Sam is a family law secretary in charge of the administration of the Child Care team. She works for Fabian and assists him in organising the department.
Sam is fanatical netball player and enjoys nothing more than shooting goals for the firm's netball team. Sam adores her daughter and regular trips to Hong Kong.
Stacey is a family law secretary. She assists Pauline and Amy in their work. Stacey is a netball star known as the 'gazelle' for her fanstastic ability to leap for the ball.
Stacey enjoys spending time with her family including her young child. She is shortly due to get married and is very excited about this.
Zoe is a family law secretary and has completed ILEX Level 2 secretarial course. She assists Poonam and the Child Care Team with their work. Zoe enjoys going away for weekends and socialising with friend. She also enjoys watersports having grown up watching her dad race powerboats. She likes jet-skiing and also paragliding although has never managed to get the hang of water-sking!
Linda works part time in our accounts department and provides administrative support to Gerry. She has responsibility for the accounts administration and reconciliation freeing up valuable time for Gerry to manage the business. Linda has a wealth of experience gained in a long career in Banking.
Away from work Linda enjoys meals out, when she can persuade her husband to take her, and holidays in the sun particularly to Cyprus and America.
Andy is our accounts assistant and brings a cheerful and charming approach to all of his duties. He hopes to become an Officer of the British Military next year . His ambition is to fly aeroplanes but in the meantime is flying in his career with Purcells.
Andy is very sociable and has a friendly, happy nature. He enjoys drinking, going out with his friends and spending time with his family.
Sharon Long - Legal Costs Draughtsperson
Sharon is a Legal Executive specialising in family law, particularly children matters. She is the firm's in-house Legal Costs Draughtsperson, dealing with the costing procedure on publically funded work. On occasions she also undertakes client work to cover holidays.
In her spare time Sharon enjoys a quiet family life with her husband and toddler.
Gerry is responsible for business development and the strategic direction of the firm.
When not in the office he is usually in the Pub drinking large quantities of Guinness. He hates the fact that Pauline loves football as he enjoys the “gentleman’s” sport of Rugby. He is still getting used to working in an office full of women and somehow he gets them running around after him.

Paul has worked with the firm for lmost two years. He has provided personal growth and development training of staff. This has helped the firm develop and live by our Family Values system.
Paul has considerable expertise in assisting businesses develop and deal with change. As a development consultant and personal coach he instils confidence in others to help them achieve strategic personal and business goals. This investment by the firm in his training has enabled everyone to grow in confidence and ensure all clients are dealt with to the best possible and consistent standard.
In his spare time Paul is a keen supporter of Bath Rugby and enjoys all forms of motor sport.

We have recently joined the Milton Keynes Beginners Total Netball League. The first season finished at Easter 2010 and we came third. This was a great achievement particularly as the first two teams were not beginners!
Everyone is involved, not just the players. Many of us go along to support.
Dan is our Team Manager who provides motivation and encouragement to the team.
All new staff are encouraged to join in either playing or supporting.
